The annual RubberBand Contest For Young Inventors is hosted by the Akron Global Polymer Academy – an outreach division of the School of Polymer Science and Polymer Engineering at The University of Akron. This contest challenges students in grades 5-8 to design and create a working invention/artwork that incorporates at least one rubber band.

Students can compete in one of two separate divisions:

• Arts & Leisure
• Science & Engineering

Sinnott students in Grades 5-6 can participate in this free contest.
